Can you fucking believe this shit? We spent months on those cases, then pulled an all-nighter to put that proposal together, and THIS is what we get for it? That moron Jung can't handle one case by himself, let alone half the goddamn Contact abductions. What the hell is happening to this place? When we started out, everyone was tense, excited. We were focused. The whole Initiative was on some James Bond doomsday clock shit. Now we've got idiot desk jockeys sabotaging everything while the Director's off... doing whatever the hell he does instead of actually running this shitshow. Christ, Max. This can't be incompetence. Is Jung smarter than he looks? Is the Director using him as a fall guy? Who's undercutting ESI? The Russians? The Chinese? The Americans?? I'm losing my mind here, man. We're supposed to be helping people. I can't work under these conditions. I'm going to confront the Director in the morning. -- Roth
