Gasp isn’t my favourite onomatopoeia, but I tried a few things before that and all of them made it look like she was just eternally screaming instead of waking up really startled. So gasp it is.
Anyhow, doing really well with the next batch of pages! I have them all flatted and the backgrounds shaded for three out of five, and the plan is to get the rest of them done today. I also have the rest of the weekend minus Monday to get the rest of them done, because Monday is Canadian Thanksgiving and I’ll be getting my turkey and box wine on with family instead of drawing on that day.
